Robbie Davies Jr. Vs. Sergey Lipinets On May 8th In Florida – ProBoxTV Live Stream

Popular British boxer Robbie Davies Jr. is set to return to the ring in Plant City, Florida on May 8th, after an injury caused him to sit out for the majority of 2023.

In his first professional bout outside of the United Kingdom, the former British, Commonwealth and European champion – whose record stands at 23-4 – has teamed up with Pro Box Promotions, where he will take on Sergey Lipinets (17-3-1).

The 35 year old goes under the moniker of ‘Samurai’ and is a fighter willing to go out on his shield, only losing to the top warriors of the division, such as Jaron Ennis and Mikey Garcia. The one-time holder of the IBF World Super Lightweight strap will provide Davies with a challenge and – if he can overcome the Kazakh – a solid win on the resume. It is reported that Davies is training with the talented Anthony Crolla, an indication that success could be imminent for the Davies camp.

In a division brimming with fresh, young talent, it is now-or-never for both fighters.

The rest of the card features many exciting up-and-coming prospects, as Pro Box improves their offerings. Impressive Mongolian amateur with a professional record of 9-0 Tsendbaatar Erdenebat will be looking to expand his reputation in the lightweight division, taking on 17-6-1 veteran Alberto Mercado, who recently lost to another hot prospect, Floyd Schofield (17-0). Erdenebat will seek to impress and overshadow Schofield by getting Marcado out early and winning emphatically.

A riveting young heavyweight, 7-0 Fernely Feliz Jr. will be fighting 11-1 Cesar Navarro in a bout that is guaranteed to end inside the distance. Winning numerous accolades in the amateurs, Feliz Jr. seems ready to announce himself by extending his winning record, whilst Navarro will be looking to put up a fight. This is truly one to look out for.

It is also understood that young Robert Meriwether III will occupy a spot on the card, seeking to increase his 5-0 record against Victor Manuel Lopez Gala, also 5-0. Meriwether, only 19, holds much more experience than Gala, as he was the winner of the 2017 USA Junior Olympics. Certainly, he will be a name to look out for, in a few short years.

So, with this card, Pro Box continue their streak of hosting low-profile, inconspicuous but thoroughly entertaining match-ups and, with names like Robbie Davies Jr, this will be sure to increase their profile.
