Derrick Rose announced his retirement from basketball after asking to be waived by the Memphis Grizzlies. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 draft played for the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons and Memphis over his pro career.
Many fans still wonder what Rose, the youngest MVP in NBA history, could have accomplished had he not suffered that horrible ACL injury during the 2012 playoffs.
