The Vegas Summer League is the pre-eminent offseason event for NBA fans, as it is their first chance to catch a glimpse of the basketball stars of tomorrow, including the new, reigning No. 1 pick, just like Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg this year.

Below, we put together a list of the leading scorers of every edition of Vegas Summer League so far, dating all the way back to 2004 (shoutout to Nikoloz Tskitishvili), and featuring the likes of Jabari Smith Jr., Damian LillardJohn Wall and more.

As you’ll see, having a great Summer League is not necessarily a precursor for having a great NBA career.
