Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Official Reveal Trailer and Release Date

[ad_1]

We’re officially returning to the times when Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater ruled the world. After the success of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, it’s no surprise we’re returning to the world of remakes with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is releasing on July 11 (on essentially every platform that matters), and the leaks that came out shortly before the announcement are all lining up. Even without this morning’s leaks, there was a countdown to an announcement today, so it seemed all but assured this was going to be the reveal. Still, I don’t think that hurt the excitement as the trailer really hit the spot for old fans like myself.

It would have been a true crime against the franchise if Ace of Spades hadn’t been the trailer song, so they didn’t fumble on the one-yard line here. There were not a ton of details in the trailer (beyond getting a look at how the remake will look), but we know what to expect after the last remake. There will be new parks, new skaters, and a new soundtrack to go along with all the old goodness updated for modern systems. We also got to see at least one of the new parks at the end of the trailer, and it seems to be at a large abandoned water park.

The biggest reveal likely stems from the editions of the game that were announced in the trailer. However, these details were all revealed in the leaks, and the big thing is you will get the game three days early if you go with the Deluxe Edition ($69.99) or Collector’s Edition ($129.99). All the details for the Digital Deluxe Edition can be found in the two images above. The Collector’s Edition comes with a physical skateboard deck from Birdhouse, which you can see below.

If you pre-order, you will also get access to the Foundry demo at some point in June. We’ll likely get more info and details in the months ahead, but it’s time to get excited for the return of two more incredible skating games.
