Tyrese Haliburton: 'If I can walk, I want to play'

Tony East: Haliburton on his calf, insisting on playing: “It’s the Finals. I’ve worked my whole life to be here. I want to be out there to compete… I wasn’t great tonight but any means… if I can walk, I want to play.” Haliburton says his injury is in the “same area” as what he was dealing with after Game 2.

This feels like Game 1 all over again. OKC has mostly been in control, got up big, but the pesky Pacers clawed their way back.
To within four with 9:19 to go. And that’s with just 2pts from Haliburton, who’s battling through the pain. – 10:51 PM

This must be devastating to watch for Indy fans. They had control of G4 and look like they’d have a great shot in this one with Haliburton healthy. – 10:36 PM

87-79 after 3. Pacers only in it because TJ McConnell scored 13 in the quarter. Haliburton only with two FT’s.
Jalen Williams with 29, SGA with 22 – 10:36 PM

Lu Dort is still face-guarding Haliburton in the half-court.
But Haliburton doesn’t appear to be looking for his shot, just trying to find/create gap in the defense. – 10:06 PM

Pacers cut their 18-point hole to 14 just before half, 59-45.
Haliburton has been hurting since 5-min mark of 1Q, he’s 0/5. If he’s limited, it’s going to be tough.
OKC outscored IND 12-0 in fast break points and 15-1 in points off turnovers. Siakam has 10pts. – 9:45 PM

That was a loud & intense 1st here in OKC. Loudest it’s been.
Pacers trailing 32-22 as OKC is 4/6 from 3 on top of their success in the paint. Tony Bradley helped during his spurt. Pacers hurt by 7TOs and Carlisle not happy with officials. Haliburton only starter yet to score. – 9:10 PM

That was unbelievable effort by Bennedict Mathurin to go and chase down Alex Caruso and save a bucket. And a credit to Tyrese Haliburton for delaying Caruso just enough so Mathurin could get there. – 9:00 PM
