After an NBA game in Cleveland last weekend, San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama suggested he would accept an invitation to play for Team France in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics if he is asked. Well, guess what? The invite is in the mail. “This is (France coach) Vincent (Collet’s) call to tell us this, but yes, we’re sure,” Jean-Pierre Suitat, president of the French basketball federation, told The Athletic on Wednesday.
