Warriors lose to depleted Grizzlies behind rookie GG Jackson

Anthony Slater: Bad road loss for the Warriors to a Memphis team without Morant, Bane, Smart, Adams. The Grizzlies backups hit 20 3s. Warriors turned it over 18 times, a bunch of silly ones. Draymond Green looked pretty good in his return, but season continues to spiral. Record: 18-22.

Such an incredible night for GG Jackson. Love that he’s getting a great moment to thrive on the big stage. Had a rough year last year, and it’s amazing to see him get his career back on the track that everyone thought it was 18 months ago. – 9:11 PM

This is cool.

Loss to a grizzlies team whose leaders scorers were Vince Williams and GG Jackson is … not good pic.twitter.com/0GHZxYKmP68:53 PM

Taylor Jenkins called today a “big win” for the Grizzlies and the Memphis Hustle.
Jacob Gilyard and GG Jackson have spent some time with the Hustle this season, and Vince Williams Jr. spent a lot of time in the G League last season. – 8:53 PM

It’s two games in the rotation for GG Jackson, but easy to see how the Grizzlies might have solved their long-term wing problem with back-to-back mid-second round picks. (Because Vince Williams Jr. is already fully legit.) – 8:16 PM

The Memphis Grizzlies just took a 4th quarter lead on the Golden State Warriors playing a lineup featuring Jacob Gilyard, Luke Kennard, Vince Williams, GG Jackson and Xavier Tillman. Inspired performance by the Grizzlies. Another unsettling night if you’re a Golden State fan. – 8:08 PM
