The Western Michigan alum tallied a team high 29 goals in his sophomore campaign and finished with 47 points. He was fourth on the team in scoring and won the fastest skater competition at the AHL All-Star Classic for the second straight season. In the Calder Cup playoffs. Frank potted 10 goals, tied for the most in the league, as the Bears captured their second straight Calder Cup championship. Four of those goals were game-winners and that was also tied for the most in the playoffs.
As a rookie, Frank scored 30 goals and added 19 assists.
Frank is no longer waiver exempt and would have to clear waivers if he does not make the Washington roster out of camp.
