The Washington Capitals announced on Tuesday that the team has re-assigned right-wing Terik Parascak to the WHL’s Prince George Cougars.

The 18-year-old led all CHL rookies in goals (43) and points (105) and was named to the 2024 CHL All-Rookie Team. Parascak’s 105 points in 2023-24 were the most by a CHL rookie since Patrick Kane and Sam Gagner in 2006-07.

Parascak, whom Washington took 20th overall in June’s NHL Draft, appeared in one preseason game with the Capitals this fall, notching a primary assist and .2364 five-on-five expected goals-for percentage in a 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on September 22.

Washington’s training camp roster, which can be found here, is down to 30 players.
